Position: Pipe Fitter
Job Location: Panama City, FL
Rate of Pay: up to $24 – DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE AND INTERVIEW
Per Diem: $110/day – must live 50 miles away from yard
Description: Performs layout, fabrication, installation, testing and repair of pipe systems. Fits pipe and properly prepares joints for welding to meet the specific requirements of the system on which work is being done.
Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years shipyard experience
· Must know Ship terminology
· Must read blue prints
· Must be able to burn and bevel carbon steel pipe with hand torch
· Must pass drug test and E-Verify
· Must be able to work all shifts
Job Description
Position: Pipe Welder
Job Location: Panama City, FL
Description: Perform a variety of skilled welding of pipe in the repair and/or construction of marine vessels and associated equipment.
Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years Shipyard/Industrial experience as 1st Pipe Welder
· Must know Ship terminology
· Must pass 6G carbon steel pipe test stick root and flux core fill and cap
· Must pass X-Ray for stainless steel
· Must pass drug test and E-Verify
· Must be able to work all shifts
