We are seeking a Pipe Welder to become an integral part of our artificial lift team!

As welder employed at Flowco Production Solutions, you will be held responsible for the duties listed below.

  • Verify material/parts needed for jobs you are assigned to complete
  • Meet expected tolerances outlined in provided prints.
  • May be required to use GMAW and GTAW welding processes.
  • Selects equipment and plans layouts, assembly, and welding, applying knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal machining, weld shrinkage and welding techniques.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain provided machines (change hoses, fittings, air valves). Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment.
  • Meet lead times and completion dates as expected.
  • Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • May assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
  • ALWAYS follow safety procedure of everyone involved. No shortcuts allowed. Inform supervisor of any potential dangers or ideas to improve safety factors.
  • Inspection and quality standards are to be held to the highest degree. Examples include care to not damage machined threads, removing weld beads etc. Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.
  • Rework any rejected parts if possible. Examples include welds that fail hydro test or x-ray inspection.
  • Required to pass employer performance tests or standard tests to meet certification standards. Performs only procedures certified in.
  • Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.
  • Performs other duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· 5+ years welding

· Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Able to work independently.

· Demonstrates a solid work ethic and always exhibits professional and acceptable behaviors.

· Has a team-oriented attitude and a “roll up your sleeves” attitude.

· Ability to prioritize and multitask.

· Deadline and detail oriented.

This job is based in Houston TX and is for a second shift position. The hours are 4PM to 4:30AM and there is a $2/hour shift differential for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 – $28.00 per hour
