Overview
We are in need of a pipe welder capable of performing up to 3-pass welds on carbon steel mechanical piping (6010 & 7018). This is all commercial work–industrial hands need not apply without any commercial experience. The job is happening in Keller at KISD Central High School. Will have 40 hours per week schedule with possibility of overtime. Project could last up to a year.
Requirements:
-Valid identification proving right-to-work in the US.
-Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
-Basic hand tools and PPE required for welding–hood/shield and gloves needed.
-At least 5-6 years of experience welding on commercial mechanical carbon steel piping–hot/chill water piping experience required.
-Reliable transportation to get to the job site, on-time, every day.
