Innovative Pipe & Welding Inc. is a fast-growing welding/pipe fitting company located in the KW Area. We are a family-owned company known for our reliability and quality of work.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Pipe Fitter / Plumber employee to join our team we do primarily industrial piping and pressure vessel work in the food and beverage industry amongst other industries. This is a hands-on lead hand roll, candidate MUST be capable of managing the job site, material and 3-4 guys daily. Candidate must be willing to travel daily through out KW and the GTA daily

Position Responsibilities & Minimum Requirements:

  • Looking for a specific individual that is capable of working independently (This is a must)
  • Capable of handling service calls and critical thinking under deadlines
  • Must also be able to manage the job and 3-4 guys independently
  • Travel daily throughout KW and the GTA daily
  • Available for over-time work and weekend hours.
  • G-Class Drivers License
  • Must be able to read drawings.
  • Minimum 8yrs of experience
  • Boiler Room Experience is a must
  • Must have knowledge of steam Boilers, pressure vessels and pressure piping systems

Summary of Duties

  • Repair steam, condensate, heating, and process piping systems
  • Repairs and installation of steam systems, devices, and piping
  • Performs regular preventative maintenance on all steam system devices, including thorough inspection of steam traps and boilers
  • Installation of boilers
  • Prepares and lays out own material for repair or new installation.
  • Carries out other steamfitter duties as assigned
  • Schedule materials, tools, and personnel
  • Measure, cut, thread and welding layout of piping systems
  • Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
  • Select type and size of pipe required
  • Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems
  • Stainless steel experience is a must (welding experience TIG/stick preferred)
  • Incentives and compensation are negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

Salary: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
