Job description
- Follow direction appropriately from supervisor, company management, the customer, and inspectors.
- Perform pipefitting job duties in a skilled, capable, professional manner
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend and install pipe, valves, fittings and structural
- Bolt up and pressure test
- Join pipe sections using line-up pins to line-up flanges; torque as per flange requirements
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials
- Gather proper tools and materials needed for project
- Actively participate in Davco’s Health, Safety & Environmental program
Skill Requirements:
- Journeyperson Pipefitter Certification
- Indentured Apprentice Pipefitter Certification
- WHMIS
- Current Safety Tickets required: CSTS-2020, H2S Alive
- Safety Tickets preferred: First Aid, Fall Protection, EWP (Elevated Work Platforms), Confined Space
- Ability to lift up to 23kg
- Proficient in written, spoken and reading English
Terms of Employment:
- Full-time – Short-term Project Based
- Wage: Negotiable (varies based on apprenticeship level, experience, and relevant certifications) in accordance to company wage bands based on confirmed credentials.
- LOA as per project specifications
- Hours of Work: 12.
- Shift: 7 am to 7 pm
- Weekend Work: Required
- Overtime paid in accordance employment legislation.
- There is no shift travel paid on this project
