Overview

Summary:
Responsible for completing Containment/ Pit Lining and / or Poly Pipe Services which functions to ensure that the service being provided is consistent with established policies, guidelines and Company Code of Conduct to meet Customer needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Follows general policies/procedures and stays in compliance to ensure that the individual meets all Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies and Guidelines of Swiftwater/Tetra.

Ability to learn and cross train for Containments/ pit lining and poly pipe standard operating procedures, processes and guidelines.

Inform Supervisor promptly of any issues.

Assist crew to assure the consistency of sewing, construction and welding of pits and are completed to meet quality standards.

Ability to perform safely in our environment.

Physically capable to perform the duties required.

Performs other duties as assigned to meet the needs of production.

Stay on location at all timesto maintain oversight of the unit.

Requirements:
Preferred 1-yearrelevant work and/or education experience.

Preferred knowledge of the inventory, materials and equipment.

Preferred knowledge of 3 and4 inch poly pipe.

Preferred knowledge of spooling/reeling & laying out poly pipe.

Preferred ability to operate welding machine, extrusion welder and sewing machine.

Preferred knowledge of fusing.

Knowledge in wide range of polyethylene liners and Containments, both secondary and constructed containment structures.

Safely performing the loading, unloading, transporting, installation and removal of environmental spill prevention containment products

Knowledge of skid steer/ditch witch a plus

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability speak and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situation to customers and other employees of the organization

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations

Pass the required physical examination and drug screen. MVR screen must comply with Company policy. Certain locations and positions may require possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License with Hazardous Material and Air Brake endorsements. ForkliftOperator license may also be required.
