Overview
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Schedules and plans shop welding operations. Prepare an efficient Contract Master Schedule and maintain knowledge of all key project milestones. Prepare and Administer project from conceptualization to implementation and evaluate all issues. Draft a timeline for each work order and customer.
Assist to identify and resolve all issues in normal operations and manage all communication for all schedule disruption. Evaluate all fabrication site and vendor schedule and ensure adherence to contract master schedule. Ensure compliance to schedule and manage all project deliverables and recommend increase in workforce if required.
Qualifications:
A good understanding of heavy welding and fabrication of mining equipment is a strong asset.
Requires strong time management and organizational skills.
This position must be self-disciplined and self-motivated.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
Position requires work projects and schedules to be developed from start to finish with multiple external factors that can affect the outcome of the project, while demonstrating active updates and schedule impacts of change.
