Sovereign Fusion is looking for a Plant Manager for their fast-paced custom fabrication shop in Campbellville.

Your Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee detailers, project coordinators, and shop/field welders
- Supervising multiple fabrication processes
- Read, revise, and oversee fabrication and CAD drawings
- Daily operational activities required to ensure efficiency and exceptional customer service
- Create and ensure execution of production plans by establishing priorities, scheduling, meeting customer requirements, monitoring inventory, capacity, and progress, and resolving problems
- Production output, quality, and on-time shipping
- Develop and revise processes to promote accountability, safety, and quality
- Implement strategies to drive and develop your team
- Analyze operational reports to identify trends and provide data on opportunities and risks
- Track and optimize operational metrics and performance targets
- Prioritize safety in all operational activities
- Liaise with customers and other key stakeholders
What You Bring
- Effective leadership, including the ability to teach and train others
- Excellent communication
- Financial planning and budgeting skills
- Sound judgement and decision-making abilities
- 5+ years’ experience in structural metal fabrication or related industry
- 3-5 years in a leadership role
- CWB GMAW/FCAW Certification and Welding Supervisor course completion is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Knowledge of fabrications methods
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Knowledge about employment laws and health and safety regulations
- Post-secondary education in a related field
