Overview
Nexus Resource Solutions are working in partnership with a global engineering and fabrication specialist. We require a number of time served Platers and Welders for an initial 3 month contract for a prestige project in the Renfrew area.
The Role
We require trade qualified Platers and Welders to work on a prestige contract where you’ll be fabricating and welding various structures including water towers for the Nuclear industry.
Experience and Qualifications
We are looking for people who are used to fabricating heavy structures within Nuclear, Marine, Oil & Gas or heavy engineering industries.
- You’ll be working with Plate from 20-60mm thick.
- Cutting, burning and forming steel from drawings
Welders:
- 6G FCAW, FCAW Welders will need to be ideally coded to EN9606. Tests are possible for lapsed certs

Rates: LTD/Umbrella/CIS
- £16ph
- x1.5 and x2 for overtime
- Initial 3-month contract
Hours:
- Days-7am-4pm Mon-Thu
- 7am-12pm on Fridays
