We are looking to add a dynamic individual to our team in the Welding Department on the Night shift.

The Precision Welder will be responsible for TIG and MIG welding parts to drawings and verifying the part meets the requirements. The Precision Welder will be expected to float around the shop completing other tasks as necessary.

The main tasks may include:

  • Interpreting prints
  • Lifting and manipulating parts to be welded
  • TIG (GTAW) aluminum and steel welding
  • Inspecting parts manually
  • Completing associated paperwork
  • Working closely with other employees to troubleshoot problems
  • Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have these competencies:

  • TIG (GTAW) welding to tight tolerances
  • Ability to read prints
  • Attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Be a team player

Education Requirement:

  • High-School Diploma,
  • Some College or University,
  • Completion of College or University,
  • Or a combination of education and experience

Previous Experience:

  • Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience welding thin gauge aluminum through TIG (GTAW) process is considered an asset
  • Current CWB tickets in CSA W47.1 and W47.2 considered an asset

Salary: $23.00-$29.00 per hour
