We are seeking skilled professionals and certified F3/F4 and F6 Pressure welders to become part of our Welding construction team for various Pressure welding projects in Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada. Candidates should have a good working knowledge and experience on how to weld all position and rolling carbon Pipe with SMAW and all position GTAW for Stainless piping. Structural experience knowledge will be a given asset but not necessary.

Compensation / Hours

  • · $43.94 per hour
  • · 40 hours a week with potential for up to 60 hours
  • · Inclusion in company benefits
  • · Pension 5% of hourly wages earned after 6 months

Qualifications

  • · Valid Certification for F3/F4 SMAW
  • · Valid Certification for F6 GTAW
  • · Experience in pipe welding in a construction industry
  • · Physical ability to work in a construction environment and lift heavy materials
  • · Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • · Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • · Knowledge and experience in fitting will be a given asset
  • · Experience in Pressure welding in the 1G position

Key Responsibilities

  • · weld and repair pipes for equipment used in heating, cooling, and industrial piping systems
  • · Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure proper welding and fitting
  • · Use hand and power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery to cut, bend, and shape pipes and fittings
  • · Troubleshoot and repair problems as needed
  • · Always follow safety regulations and guidelines
  • · Maintaining tools and equipment
  • · Communicate with team members and supervisor to ensure project is completed on time and within budget
