Overview
Applied Compression Systems is located in Cranbrook, BC and has a strong focus on custom designed and fabricated compressor packages.
We have an opening in our growing company for a production person. The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined, have fabrication/welding experience, , and have a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities Include:
– Able to work effectively without supervision.
– Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
– Read and understand GA, P&ID, and Pipe Spool drawings.
– Maintaining a clean work area.
– Mechanical assembly of large compressor components.
– Fabricating brackets, skids, and other components.
– Cutting and preparing steel.
– Bending and installing instrument tubing.
– Preparation and painting of equipment.
– Other general shop duties.
Must live locally in Cranbrook area.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
