Production Welder
Pay Rate is Based on Skill and Experience.
Job Description
This position is for a full-time welder with experience in production MIG welding. Applicants must be able to perform difficult welding operations for complex assemblies, plan and layout welding sequence, referring to drawings, blueprints or specifications. Operate welding equipment, regulate current and voltage or gas and wire flow rate for proper penetration and fusion of metals. Obtain maximum weld strength, avoiding distortion and excessive weld at joints.
Qualification Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience welding
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments per instructions
- Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math calculations such as fractions to solve manufacturing/assembly issues
Hours
Mon- Thurs. 6:00 am – 4:30 pm (possible overtime on Fridays)
