POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking a Projection Line Welder to join our Operations team. This role is responsible for spot welding overlapping edges of positioned components to secure tabs, arches, hinges, and other parts on a fully formed frame.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Proper assembling of frame components of the final product.
Placing proper spot welds on the required sections of the material or component according to job specifications.
Adjusting equipment for automatic timing of current.
Examining welded components to detect defects and make adjustments on the spot welder as necessary for different materials.
Recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Reporting immediately to supervisor/lead/manager any and all problems, which may affect safety, equipment, tooling, and/or quality.
Maintaining full working knowledge of all processes.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Manufacturing/Maintenance experience preferred
General Computer Skills
English Required
Basic math skills required
Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
