PTA Welder – Labourer

  • Ability to apply common senses understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Good hand and eye coordination.
  • Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to determine whether process is in or out control and obtain assistance from supervision.
  • Be familiar with the Company Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
  • Perform the activities assigned by the Cell Leader.
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment such as wheelabrators, deburrers and shotblasters to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other material surfaces of metal parts.
  • Weld parts by ensuring proper setup-lineup of parts, and ensuring corrects settings are engaged for proper weld/coating requirements.
  • Effectively manage and maintain time requirements for the pre-heat and post weld procedures according to provided documentation.
  • Follow, apply and maintain welding as per procedure and meet requirements.
  • Transport raw materials and finished products manually or using pallet jack.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials.
  • Participate in training classes as specified.
  • Maintain a clean working environment.
  • Engrave parts following provided instructions.

*Candidates must be willing and able to work all shift work and overtime as required.
