Our Company:

DYNA-MIG, A Division of F&P Mfg., Inc. is a Japanese Just-In-Time automotive parts supplier. Our large facility is home to more than 500 fully automated FANUC and Motoman robots. Our production processes include Robotic GMAW and resistance welders, Cold Forging, and two E-Coat paint systems. We weld, assemble and paint engine cradles, frames, sub components and service parts.

Responsibilities:

As a key member in our Quality Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Quality Assurance work in various weld areas
  • Perform dock audits, inspections and testing as required
  • Support Project Specialists for weld processes
  • Participate in customer and supplier quality issues
  • Support mass production quality control requirements
  • Prepare single page reports/summaries as required
  • Participate in 5S programs, maintain a clean and orderly workspace
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

To be considered for the job, you should have the following credentials:

  • Strong technical and analytical aptitude for problem solving
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills with strong interpersonal and team skills
  • Good analytical and math skills
  • Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work overtime with short notice
  • Valid G driver’s license
  • Practical measurement skills with basic tools – attribute fixtures, calipers, micrometers etc.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, GD&T and other technical standards
