Quality Technician – Welding
Egar Tool and Die Ltd. is pleased to offer Full Time employment opportunities in our Assembly departments. Our quality technicians are an integral part of our stamping and assembly processes, ensuring the best quality parts are delivered to our customers. You will be challenged to meet quality targets together with your team.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist is Problem investigation and root cause determination.
- Conduct regular floor audits of outgoing parts
- Update and maintain process documentation, control plans, PFMEA, work instructions etc.
- Ensure investigation takes place for any process failures.
- Provide support for production inspection, monitor weld quality.
- Maintain safety standards for equipment and work area. Maintain good housekeeping.
Qualifications
· Knowledge and experience in part PPAP and PPAP documentation
- Knowledge and experience in the use of check fixtures as well as precision measurement tools, (vernier, micrometer etc.)
- Knowledge of destructive and nondestructive evaluation testing and equipment.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis using various techniques.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to work deadlines and prioritize multiple demands.
