What you will do (Essential Functions)

  • Join, fabricate, and repair stainless steel and other weldable material by applying appropriate custom welding techniques (Mig, Tig, and Stick).
  • Applies design modifications to existing headers, exhausts, and other parts.
  • Interprets engineer blueprints and drawings.
  • Modify various metal components via grind, saw, etc.
  • Installs custom headers and/or exhaust systems and components on various vehicles.
  • Capable of welding all specialty and custom-built jobs/projects.

Pay Range · $23 – $28 per hour

Requirements: What we require (Skills and Abilities)

  • Experience welding 304 stainless and mild steel in 14, 16, 18 & 20 gauge.
  • Excellent Mig/ Tig welding skills.
  • 3-5 years of custom fabrication experience.
  • Understands manufacturing scheduling.
  • Strong general automotive knowledge.
  • Aftermarket parts and components knowledge strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to read and speak English fluently.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Great to Have

  • Welding Certification Program (AWS) a plus.
  • Someone self-motivated and genuinely interested in being a factor in the automotive aftermarket industry.
  • A team player with a helpful, friendly and positive attitude.
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and 50 pounds on occasion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
