Overview
The Repair Technician position is perfect for an individual who is motivated and pays attention to details. This position will allow you to do a variety of tasks from welding/brazing, repair work to manufacturing custom AC lines out of aluminum tubing. This is perfect for someone who likes to tackle different tasks.
The Repair Technician will be responsible for repairing automotive air conditioning lines, making custom fittings & hoses per written or verbal instructions while maintaining a efficient pace and a clean work environment.
Daily Responsibilities
-Automotive AC hose repairs
-Braze / TIG weld thin wall aluminum & steel tubing
-Form and bend custom fittings out of aluminum tubing
-Pressure test fittings for leaks
-Keep work area clean
Requirements
-Must be able to read a tape measure.
-Able to maintain an excellent attendance record
-Able to sit, stand, bend all day
-Able to use hand tools, and power tool
-Able to follow verbal & written instructions
-Able to complete tasks / assignments in a timely manner with no to low supervision.
Work Experience:
-Previous welding or brazing aluminum and steel
Come prepared to take a welding & brazing test.
Employment:
-Full Time 40hr
-Monday-Friday 8am-430pm
