Second Shift 3:30 PM – 12:00AM

Position objective

Use of Resistance Welding to fabricate components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies to blueprint and work instruction specifications.

Job functions

Use various hand and power tools (i.e. shears, micro capacity resistance welding, die size, air ram test, scope, etc.)

Communicate ideas, problems, and concerns to managers.

Complete all necessary paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data.

Work under the direction of supervisors, group leaders, team leaders, or more expert personnel with little supervision.

Perform related tasks as requested

Minimum qualifications

Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent (i.e. GED).

Prior work experience reading and understanding blueprints.

Basic math skills.

Soldering experience a plus.

Ability to understand, follow, and effectively communicate verbal and written instructions.

Understand and use measuring equipment such as calipers and drop gauges.

Work overtime as required.

Physical requirements

Pass visual acuity test.

Frequent bending.

Standing for long periods of time.

Good eye and hand dexterity.

Lifting up to 30 lbs. Frequency: daily.

Position proficiencies

Work safely following all safety procedures.

Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area.

Maintain high quality and production standards and keep records.

Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while performing work tasks.

Participate in a minimum of one (1) Kaizen event each year.

Other requirements

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

Perform preventative maintenance as required.

Must follow all environmental policies and procedures when working with chemicals, oils, and solvents.
