Overview
White Oak Oil & Gas Processing Equipment is looking for a Rig Welder with a CDL A. You’ll work in a dynamic environment based out of our fabrication shop and travel to job locations in our rig to complete projects. You’ll utilize your versatility and multi-process welding skills on a daily basis moving from pipe welding to structural welding to miscellaneous welding all in a day’s work.
On any given day, you’ll be performing measurements, field fit ups, layout, field fabrication, pipe welding, and structural welding and miscellaneous welding. You’ll thrive working on in the shop and in the field, representing White Oak Oil & Gas Processing Equipment and exercising your vase knowledge with customer interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Pipe welding, structural welding, and miscellaneous welding with minimum instruction and minimum supervision
- Accurately maintain daily time and job report
- Inspect Rig and ensure all tools, equipment and supplies are in ready to roll.
- Drive to field job
- May need to go measure or do a field fit up
- Operation of forklifts, and aerial lifts
- Other work as assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent in multi-process welding and pipe welding
- Proficient in knowledge of blueprint reading and welding symbols
- Must have a CDL
- Proficient in welding best practices
- Proficient in visual inspection
