Overview

Job Summary

Position is a mixture of arc welding robot operation, general manual welding work, and engineers assistant.

No robotics experience needed. Come with your desire to work with the technology and up your fabrication game. Robot operation and basic programming training will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Change robot tooling as required

· Program setup and configuration

· Loading and unloading of weld fixtures during part production

· Monitor robot weld performance

· Maintenance or adjustment of weld fixtures

· Maintenance and cleaning of related equipment

· Weld fixture construction

· Manual welding of assemblies

· Special project fabrication

· Will be required to perform standard manual welding work when needed

Required Qualifications

· Entry level welding experience or trade school

· Basic weld inspection knowledge

· Ability to read engineering drawings

· Ability to use hand tools e.g., angle grinder, drill, taps, etc.

· Ability to lift 60 lbs.

· Flexibility to shift tasks as needed

Preferred Skills

· Understanding of how coordinate systems work

· Any programming experience

· Good mechanical abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Programmable Logic Controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
