Overview

Raptor is an independent international supply, design and engineering company in operation since 2004 and is headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with CISC (Continuous Improvement Service Centre) locations worldwide.

The primary role of the Machine Operator is to run a robotic welding machine in a safe and efficient manner.

There is a Dayshift and an afternoon shift avaliable

6am – 2pm – Dayshift Mon-Fri

2pm – 10 pm – Afternoon Mon-Fri

Responsibilities:

  • Operate robot safely and efficiently to produce parts of quality
  • Install jigs and weld parts in a repeatable process
  • Learn and perform basic trouble shooting on shop machinery
  • Production support processes such as grinding, painting, blasting and palletizing
  • Communicate quality and safety issues to management

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Qualification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift experience, forklift ticket is preferred

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Prior welding experience not a requirement but is an asset

Prior experience with programming robots is not a requirement but is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
