TIG Stainless Systems Ltd.

T.I.G. Stainless Systems Ltd (TIG) is a leading provider of process piping and sanitary welding services for the pharmaceutical, biotech, semi-conductor, and food/beverage industries across Canada. We are currently seeking a Fitter/Welder experienced in Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding. The successful candidate will be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to execute fabrication of piping systems, equipment tie-ins and piping system repairs. This is a permanent full-time position.

Primary responsibilities will include:

· Read blueprints, fabricate, install, inspect, and test piping systems.

· Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to pipefitting and TIG welding.

· Read and accurately interpret internal instructions and weld procedure specifications.

· Maintain clean and organized working environment.

· Properly care for and maintain all materials and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have:

· A minimum of two years’ experience with pipefitting.

· A minimum of two years’ experience with TIG welding of stainless steel, including tubing, pipe and/or structural steel.

· Ability to weld using all positions.

· Orbital welding experience is a definite asset.

· Ability to work self sufficiently with minimal supervision.

· Valid driver’s license. Regular travel required – largely in Southern and Central Ontario.

· Ability to work overtime as required.
