Overview
We are quickly looking for an experienced Welder to join our company to perform the assembly and construction of metal products and parts. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for working with your team to join and weld parts together, such as metal plates, tubes and structural shapes. To perform this job successfully, you should be accurate and proficient in welding various types of metals. You must be a conscientious worker who can follow directions and stay on schedule. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. If you are interested in working with cutting-edge techniques, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, install and maintain machinery and equipment to weld, assemble and fabricate metal products using hand and power tools.
- Read technical drawings and schematics to determine welding processes and equipment required.
- Identify different welding styles based on product specifications or preferences.
- Set up, calibrate or align machinery.
- Produce high quality welds to meet standards, using hand or mechanized welding equipment.
- Produce products using grinding, cutting and deburring equipment.
- Maintain a clean environment by clearing debris and disposing of hazardous waste.
- Carry out tests to monitor the safety of materials, products and the workplace.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
