Overview
Perform pipefitting as a journeyman pipefitter on large stainless steel, carbon steel, PVC, polypro and copper pipe. Layout and fabrication of specialty systems to support vacuum pumps, vertical turbine pumps, multistage turbine pumps, cooling towers, valves, heat exchanger, water treatment equipment, hot water boilers, helium purifiers, air dryers, high pressure gas systems, cryogenic systems and deionized water systems. Troubleshoot and perform breakdown maintenance on the equipment listed above along with numerous other state of art systems; some welding will be performed. Installation of new systems and equipment, including carpentry, plumping, machining, painting, and welding. General millwright work. Setting equipment, alignment, rigging layout and setup. Order parts, contact vendors, and general paperwork.
