Cart Source LLC is a leading multi-national shopping cart manufacturer hiring a SERVICE TECHNICIAN based out of Jacksonville, FL. We are recruiting qualified service technicians to support our growing team servicing high profile retailers in the Southeastern USA. Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, ability to travel and commitment to learning and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Communicating with store management and department level employees at each store and represent the Cart Source brand with excellent customer service
  • Pressure cleaning, minor MIG welding, cart wheel and caster replacement, miscellaneous repairs of rolling grocery store equipment (shopping carts, floats, bakery racks, etc.)
  • Ability to work outdoors
  • Proficient with power tools and hand tools
  • Must be 21+ years of age with clean driving record to drive Cart Source maintenance vehicle
  • Ability to travel as needed to service customers
  • Travel to northern Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, with Jacksonville, FL as the home base — Approximately 75% Travel
  • Attention to detail is a valuable asset

Qualification:

  • Able to work in a physically demanding environment — able to lift 50 lbs., stoop, bend and stand for extended periods of time, as well as working outdoors.
  • Fast paced and demanding environment
  • Leadership qualities and ability to problem solve
  • Experience with MIG welding is a preferred
  • Clean driving record for past 7 years – MVR check mandatory
  • Able to pass DOT physical, drug screening and verification of Social Security Number
  • Ability to use power tools
  • Excellent communication skills
