Overview
We’re looking for a service technician with a strong focus on structural welding and fabrication. You’ll work in our shop the first few months then help out on a road crew in Saskatchewan through February and March. If you are a positive individual who is willing to help, eager to learn and loves contributing, we’d be happy to have you on our team.
What You Bring to the Table
- FCAW All Positions CWB ticket required
- SMAW and GMAW CWB tickets an asset
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to read drawings to perform tasks
- Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated individual
- Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights and in confined spaces
- Must provide own basic tools and smartphone for company apps
- Driver’s license required
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Commitment to working safely
- Ability to work overtime evenings and weekends on occasion
What you’ll be responsible for
- Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Welding (MIG and Stick) assemblies, using stainless, mild, and structural steel
- Assist in fabricating and assembling a variety of items, including bin structures and towers, liquid coating systems, pump skids, propane dispenser systems and small manufactured parts
- Prepare inspection, maintenance and work reports, and record work details
