Overview
VAC Developments Ltd is a growing Canadian Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Company in a clean, air conditioned facility and we are looking for a Sheet Metal Mechanic -Fabrication.
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Overtime available
RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs various fabrication techniques; bending, shearing, punching & notching of metal components.
- Ability to use precision hand tools and measuring equipment.
- May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test production according to specifications.
Required Skills and Experience : Ability to read drawings, blueprints
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques, materials, tools and equipment.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Individual must have a sense of urgency and is a team player.
- 2+ years working with sheet metal
