Overview
Deluxe Metal Fabrication Inc is a manufacturer of precision sheet metal parts. We are in Langley, BC, and currently looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our team and work safely in an efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
– Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials
– Operate a forklift
– Load and unload vehicles
– Clean machines and immediate work areas
– Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering
– Deburring, sanding, grinding, hardware insertion, assembly, and other duties.
– Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
– Practice good housekeeping and safety procedures and adheres to all company policies
– Confers with supervision, management, maintenance, or others to resolve issues
– Help teammates to clean and organize the shop space
– Assist production team with the following activities
– Masking and preparation for powder coating
· Orbital sanding (grinding or buffing)
· Hardware insertion
· Packaging shipments
– Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
– Basic computer skills
– Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
– Must be able to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings
– Must be detail-oriented, hard-working, and comfortable with hands-on work
– Able to work individually or as a team
– Team player, driven and committed to the success of the company
– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
– Must have reliable transportation
– Must be eligible to work in Canada
Work Schedule
Shift is full-time, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Morning shift.
Payment will be negotiated based on skills and experience.
