ELRO Manufacturing LLC, specialties include custom metal fabrication, precision laser cutting, aluminum composite materials, and hurricane resistant roofing vents and products. We work in steel, aluminum, stainless steel and copper. We are looking for candidates for a vacant in our manufacturing facilities in Apopka.

Job Summary

Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a manufacturing organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Roll forming, sheet metal, welding or metal fabrication background
  • Shop fabrication/mechanical/welding background
  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products
  • Utilize handheld tools such as a hand-held screw gun, drill-gun, and grinders and all welding equipment and tools
  • Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tool
  • Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods
  • Continually evaluate weld machine performance and technology to improve cycle times

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Metal Fabrication/Welding (Experience welding thin material is a plus)
  • Ability to read a tape measure is essential
  • Skill with power and hand tools
  • Ability to read blueprints/shop drawings is a plus
  • High levels of Intelligence, creativity, attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Knowledge of building, installation, and mechanical processes
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds and work under tight deadlines
  • Carpentry experience is a plus

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
