Shift Supervisor / Welder

Currently we are looking for the right individual to take on the full-time position of Afternoon Shift Supervisor / Welder for our Grande Prairie, Alberta facility.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- Prefer Journeymen welder, will accept Minimum 2nd yr apprentice or C level welding ticket if individual has the years of supervisory experience
- Must have experience with FCAW, MCAW, SAW processes
- CWB supervisor ticket would be an asset
- Experience with shop equipment and tools
- Ability to pass in house CWB welding test
- Minimum 2 years’ experience reading blueprints, drawings, specs, etc
- Must have own hand tools
- Must be self-motivated
- Demonstrate effective communication skills.
- Overhead crane experience
- The successful candidates must also be organized, can problem solve, enjoy challenging work, and able to work in a team environment.

Hours of work are:
Day shift – 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Afternoon Shift – 2:30 pm to 1:00 am, Monday to Thursday (compressed work week)
