Responsibilities

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing valves, piping, plumbing system fittings, and fixtures, and marine sanitation systems underwater and on land
  • Dive and perform underwater construction, cutting, and welding operations using approved diving apparatus, diving systems, underwater tools, equipment, materials, and techniques.
  • Repairing decks, structures, and hills by welding, brazing, riveting, and caulking
  • Examining, testing welds and various shipboard structures
  • Using radiological, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle testing equipment
  • Fabricating with light and heavy gauge metal such as aluminum, stainless steel, sheet copper and brass, steel, sheet, and corrugated iron
  • Repairing installed ventilation ducting
  • Repairing metal, wood, and fiberglass boats
  • Installing and repairing installation and lagging

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $31,641.00 – $55,118.00 per year
