Overview
The Shop Fabricator is a unionized position under the United Association Local 853. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
Tasks & Responsibilities
Removing finished product from the production line
Reading and following dimension sheets
Operating die threading machines
Stack and bundle pipe using overhead crane
Quality control of finished products
Other shop duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
Attention to detail
Experience operating an overhead crane
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Certified welder would be an asset
Previous fabrication/manufacturing experience an asset
Must be able to work afternoon shift
Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
Able to take charge and lead by example
Ability to use measuring devises
