Position Summary

Custom Packaging hiring Fitter/Welders with a minimum of 3 years experience. This position performs various production related functions in order to produce company and customer required components or projects.

Welders must be able to:

  • Follow production drawings
  • Follow project layouts
  • Complete tasks assigned
  • Obtain and maintain required weld procedure qualifications (CWB, AWS & ABSA)

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the highest level of quality workmanship.
  • Follow direction given by Foreman.
  • Perform all duties in the safest manner possible.
  • Work at a rate that will maintain the project schedules.
  • Know the equipment being used and maintain it as required by OHS and manufacturers recommendation.

Qualifications Required
The successful candidate for this role will have the following qualifications:

  • Alberta Apprentice/Journeyman qualifications.
  • Valid CWB welder qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years experience fitting/welding structural components.
