Apex Engineered Products is seeking a full or part time Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Clark, PA.

Apex Engineered Products is headquartered in Clark, Western Pennsylvania with satellite manufacturing facilities in Palmetto, Florida. Founded in 2001, we design and fabricate Premium Chemical Process Equipment for major producers worldwide. We specialize in exotic materials such as Zirconium, Titanium, Niobium, Tantalum, Explosion-Clad as well as many others to mitigate the adverse effects of corrosion on Chemical Process Equipment.

Schedule:

· Monday to Friday

· Overtime

· First shift availability

· Second shift availability

Duties/Responsibilities (but not limited to):

· Proficient in layout and fit-up

· Proficient in Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) and Metal Insert Gas (MIG)

· Submerged arc welding experience is a plus

· Interpret drawings and blueprints

· Plasma and Air arc experience is a plus

· Ability to produce x-ray quality welds

· Ability to operate band saws, chop saws, grinders and other hand tools

· Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane

· Maintain a tidy and organized work area

· Basic machinist tools required

· Compliance with customer specifications

· Compliance with inspection and test plans

· Compliance with all of Apex standards and documentation

Abilities/Qualifications:

· Work independently and in a timely manner

· Focus on tasks at hand

· Follow detailed instructions

· Excellent attendance

· Multi-task

· Proficiency with hand tools

· Troubleshoot

· Ability to work and communicate well with others

· Pass a drug test

· Valid driver’s license

· Must pass assessment test

· Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel

Education:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
