Hiring for Shop Welder Assistant / Helper, experienced and those looking to learn the trade.
Responsibilities:
To assist Lead Welder and must be able to accurately read a tape measure and need to read and assist with part drawings/blueprint is a plus.
The ability to work independently when needed to, also have the ability to safely operate, set up, and operate simple hand and power tools.
Set up components for welding according to specifications.
Cut material with powered saws to match measurements.
Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded on the next sequence.
Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
