Overview
We are in need of a shop welder preferably with experience in fab shops for commercial mechanical contractors (HVAC duct fab and HVAC piping work). Knowledge of MIG and Stick welding is a must. Some fitter knowledge is also preferred. Job is in Bryan/College Station area. No per diem is offered. This is a temp-to-hire position with a large mechanical contractor.
Requirements:
-Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening.
-At least 6-7 years of verifiable fab shop experience, mainly in commercial HVAC applications.
-Need basic hand tools, hood/shield, gloves, and PPE.
-Valid identification proving right-to-work in the US.
-Reliable transportation to get to the job, on-time, everyday.
