Title: Sign Fabricator & Installer

Reports to: Operations Manager

Our Sign Fabricator & Installer play an integral role in our team by being the front-line employees who represent ArtiSign in the face of the client. Working out of our Scarborough headquarters, our team must be professional in attitude and appearance while demonstrating a positive impression of ArtiSign. It is imperative that our products are fabricated and installed with the utmost care and ensuring we leave the client satisfied with their final product and installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety is our number one concern -always work safely following all processes and procedures set forth in your Health and Safety training.
  • Review work orders carefully and ensure that every detail of the job is understood – ask questions for clarification if instructions are not clear to ensure accuracy
  • Properly install the signage exactly as per the instructions you have been provided
  • Able to read and interpret standard drawings to build signs to customer specifications.
  • Ensure the accuracy of specification prior to production.
  • Assembly of signs and/or repairs to existing signs.
  • Comfortable with the use of hand and power tools for various tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required from time to time.
  • Maintain work area in a clean, safe and orderly manner.

Requirements for this position:

  • Successful completion of Working at Heights training
  • Sign Industry experience is a strong asset.
  • Experience in fabrication and welding is preferred
  • Good work ethic
  • Experience with various hand and power tools
  • Communication skills, verbal and written are a must. Able to work in a team environment and individually.
  • Ability to work in a team and multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Full G License

Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
