Provincial Sign Systems in Pickering, is hiring full time Sign Fabricators.
For more than 40 years Provincial Sign Systems has been dedicated to supplying a wide range of quality signage, transit shelters, street furniture, billboards and media spectaculars to our clients with a focused commitment on quality and professional, courteous, expert customer service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fabricate monument and pylon signs, illuminated signage, custom cabinets
- Be a self-starter and problem solver, capable of working without direct supervision
- Must be thorough and accurate with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work individually and as a team
- Must have a high level of quality and care in their work
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- 2-5 years Sign Industry experience
- Metal Fabrication experience (aluminum and steel)
- Custom sign fabrication experience with sheet metal, aluminum, fitting, wiring, and final assembly
- Experience with power brake, power shear, drilling, presses and band saws
- Own your own basic hand tools to supplement tools and equipment supplied by the company
- Experience with basic electrical wiring
- Able to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
