Overview
We are looking for a team player with a strong attention to details and a positive attitude to join our team as a Sign Maker!
To be successful in this role, you should have knowledge and experience using a variety of building materials (i.e. aluminum, acrylic, PVC, wood, etc.), woodworking, welding (both metals & plastics), and/or vinyl application.
Shift:
- Monday to Friday; 9:00am to 5:00pm
Job Duties:
- Interpret drawings provided, including all measurements
- Operate Laser Cutter and CNC Machines to cut materials
- Use tools/equipment (metal brake, shear, saws, drills, sanders, grinders, welders, etc.) to prepare and assemble frames and signage
- Prepare and paint projects
- Weld signs and related structural components (metal and plastic welding)
- Placing and wiring lighting components for LED
- Inspect signage and advise supervisor immediately of any issues
- Troubleshoot and find solutions for any issues to ensure projects are completed
- Maintain and organize machinery, equipment/tools, and materials
- Adhere to health and safety policy
Job Qualifications / Requirements:
- Candidates with strong fabrication skills from another industry will also be considered.
- Must have experience with hand tools
- Must be familiar with various building materials in order to fabricate products
- Must have strong attention to detail to ensure that projects are completed to specification
- Able to lift heavy objects (50+lbs.)
- Able to be flexible and work overtime
