Overview

We are looking for a motivated, experienced Fabricator to join our company. As part of our team of professional fabricators, you will construct and manufacture metal parts and products. You follow drawings, determine material measurements, and take responsibility for fabricating parts to a high standard.

Primary Functions & Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products
  • Must have excellent knowledge of measuring, leveling, and handheld tools such as tape measures, squares, various grinders, saws, drills, etc.
  • Keeps the Managers informed of significant developments impacting the manufacturing/fabrication operations
  • Fabricating and constructing metal components
  • Grinding and finishing completed products
  • Measuring and layouts
  • Knowledge of plasma and hand torch for cutting various material
  • Other tasks as assigned or requested by the department manager/supervisor
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures

Physical Demand

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly/frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and infrequently/occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.’

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Saturday
  • Overtime

Experience:

  • Fabrication: 2 years (Required)
