Overview
Veterinary Simulator Industries is looking to add to our team! We are looking to hire two full-time silicone fabricators. VSI Inc. has been producing veterinary simulators for over 10 years, with a wide range of products that are currently used in over 46 countries worldwide. We provide RRSP matching and a bonus program. Hourly wage indicated in ad is dependent upon experience. Wage is increased based on time with company and performance. We work a four day week – so every weekend is a long weekend! Our hours of operation are Monday to Thursday from 7am until 5:30pm. We have a great shop environment with a fantastic and hardworking crew. Some of the requirements of the role include:
– Ability to stand for long periods of time
– Ability to lift 50lbs
– Experience working with various silicones and urethanes (eg. Smooth-on)
– On time, self-motivated, team-player
– Ability to plan ahead and problem solve
– Ability to work independently, but able to communicate and reach out when help is needed
– Artistic ability for detail work
– A quick learner and attention to detail
– Experience working with/building molds is considered an asset .
– Experience working with various hand tools is an asset
– Experience welding is considered an asset
– Experience sculpting is considered an asset
