Provincial Sign System’s is a proud leader in the signage industry. PSS operations are segmented into seven business components: Structural Static Signage, Transit Shelters & Street Furniture, Digital and Electronic Signage, Installation, Maintenance, Project Management/Client Care and Content Management.

For more than 45 years Provincial Sign Systems has been dedicated to manufacturing and supplying corporate signage to our clients with a focused commitment on quality and professional, courteous, expert customer service.

We are currently seeking to hire a Skilled Fabricator for our Pickering facility.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Able to read fabrication drawings, bill of materials, measurements, and dimensions.

· Able to skillfully and safely handle all hand, air, and other tools and instruments required to fabricate signs and structures as per the specifications provided.

· At least 3 years’ experience in a sign shop or related manufacturing industry using materials and supplies such as aluminum, plastic, steel, ballasts, transformers, wiring, and other building materials.

· Familiar with basic electronics and wiring and general carpentry skills.

· Familiar with the operations involved in molding, assembly, welding and general fabrication.

· Able to work well in a team environment, or unsupervised.

· Jack-of-all-trades. Able to follow written instructions.

· Good problem solving/design skills.

Minimum requirement:

· Must be physically capable with no restrictions on mobility and without pre-existing injury that could be affected by physical work.

· May be required to use safety ladders from time to time.

· Must have safety work boots, and your own set of personal hand tools. All power tools will be supplied.

This is a full-time permanent position, 40 hours per week plus voluntary overtime opportunities, with full benefits after the 3-month probationary period.

Compensation to be determined based on experience and position.
