Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a very busy, premium food- and medical-grade manufacturing group based out of Chilliwack. We are on the hunt for an experienced Fabricator with stainless experience, A keen eye for detail and a passion for flawless finishing who has ideally worked in this segment of the industry before.
The role:
– Manufacture and fabricate finished stainless steel vessels & components
– Work on custom systems, lots of variety with no project the same!
– Follow blueprints to meet detailed product specifications
– Able to operate brake press, shear, iron worker, bandsaw and other fabrication machines
– Enjoy a work hard play hard environment, very social and friendly
The person:
– Numbers savvy, confidently able to calculate material measurements to verify specifications
– A spice for life with a humble, yet infectious energy
– Previous experience in stainless tig welding and manufacturing
– Familiarity with all welding tools and procedures, blue prints, and schematics
– Familiarity with brake press, shear, plate rolls, and fabrication equipment
– Able to work in a fast paced environment under little supervision while maintaining strict quality control and accurate tolerances
– Physically fit, able to meet lift up to 50lb, bend, lean, and be standing for periods of time
