Enerzone Heat Pumps Inc. is looking to hire full-time Brazers/soldering techs to join our team.
We’re looking for dedicated individuals who always show up for work on time and who thrive in a team-oriented environment. Successful candidates will have prior experience with soldering and brazing plumbing joints. We need to fill these positions immediately, so it’s important for new hires to hit the ground running. We offer flexible start times and a 40hr work week.
As a brazing/soldering tech, you will be responsible for cutting/prepping copper pipe and brass fittings. Following a coil layout plan to plumb our hot water/chilled water and DX coils. Perform quality control such as pressure testing and vacuum testing.
Additional responsibilities include
- Receiving and organizing stock for your work station (copper pipe, brass fittings, flow valves, isolation valves etc.)
- Communicate with other stations on the line about quantity/quality of coils to ensure maximum speed and accuracy
- Wrapping insulation around completed coils
- Installing completed coils into their housings
- inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects.
Qualifications and Skills
- Brazing/Soldering Techs should have their High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- Proven experience at brazing and soldering
- The ability to follow a coil layout
- The ability to use hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Basic math and communication skills required
- Previous experience in plumbing will be an asset

All employees have access to gloves, masks and sanitizer. Employees are encouraged every hour or before entering/leaving break areas to “scrub-in/out”. Daily disinfecting happens at every work station prior to the start of the work day.
