Overview
Able to read travelers and follow verbal instruction to pull correct components for job. * Must be able to transfer information from the traveler to the time card. Verify accuracy. * Being able to control electronic computer and peripheral electronic data processing equipment such as mouse and keyboard to process data and information and report any error to the lead or supervisor. * Select and set up air operated hand tools and fixtures on work bench. * Familiarize yourself with the Boundary Boards and 4 Category Quality System. * Must be able to identify the 4 Category Defects while working in the cell. * Check in-coming and out-going materials for quality and quantity. Prepare necessary documentation as required and report to the department lead. * Produce complete cabinet assemblies from spot- welded sheet metal and other components. * Feed parts in and out of pre-set automatic welder and actuate palm buttons to complete welding. * Perform moderate amount fitting, aligning and polishing to a diversified line of sheet metal fabricated components, cabinets etc. * Stack completed product on skids and move to storage. * Monitor and verify that the quality and quantity of work performed meets standards. * Maintain the production process, including self- balancing flow process, in a capable and aligned state and work to continuously improve.
