Job Description:
We currently have an opportunity at SPM Oil & Gas , a newly acquired Caterpillar company for a Spray Welder.

In this role you will demonstrate the core values of SPM Oil and Gas at all times by ensuring all written policies and procedures are followed safely without deviation, act as an advocate of exemplary safety culture and exhibit a high degree of integrity at all times. You will demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability and a solid work ethic. Further;
A Specialty and Metal Sprayer has basic coating skills, masking procedures, measuring skills and able to follow metal spray equipment operation guidelines.
The Specialty and Metal Sprayer may require 0-1 year of general work experience.
Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Complete clear and accurate paperwork.
Uses measuring tools to accurately measure parts.
Maintains equipment in a functional and safe working order.
Keeps work area in a clean condition, free of hazards.
Required qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic reading and writing English language skills.
Simple math skills.
Physical demands essential for this job: regularly required to stand; frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions, particularly extreme heat during summer months. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Personal Protective Equipment is required.
