Overview
Matrix Metal is again growing at an unprecedented rate. We are looking for a qualified and experienced individual with exceptional skills and knowledge to become a part of our growing tea. A min of 10 years experience is required with a focus on the ability to interpret drawings and fabricate custom jobs. Stainless Tig welding of light gauge material and Alulinum Tig/Mig welding experience is required.
Please be prepared on a daily basis to possibly working at heights on a scaffolding or scissor lift for example. Welding overhead on site. Moving material using forklifts or by lifting up to 50lbs at a time. Or fabricating in the shop.
We are a custom shop working on things like hand rail and guard rails, Stainless Kitchen and architectural pieces, Light Structural reinforcements, Carts, ramps, racks, planters etc.

Although we prefer more experience someone that is a quick learner and is looking to grow and expand with us is also a good possibility. Please have close to the min requirements with a large focus on Stainless and Tig welding experience.
Part-time hours require a min of 30 hours per week. And there may be flexibility to work on the weekends.
Being a new company, there is lots of room for growth and promotion in a very short period of time. As well working for us will make you a well-rounded welder/fabricator.
Fall protection and Scissor lift/ Genie lift tickets or experience are also preferred assets.
