Stainless Steel TIG welder.
Our team will oversee your work until you can independently perform tasks as needed with meticulous attention to detail. Must have own hand tools. Recommend 3 years of experience in the welding and fabrication field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the metal fabrication field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Knowledge of fabrication principles and practices. Fabricating and welding parts as needed. Pay is commensurate with experience. Please be very detailed in your explanation of related experience and prepare references to those businesses for review. Fabrication shop has rotary laser capability, projects for the fabrication shop are completely laser cut. With the laser, not only can we cut sheet metal and plate, we also cut structural material. (Square tubing, pipe, angle, and channel) components have tabs to aid in the assembly of projects, and etching for more integrated details for the parts, locations of stand-off, tapped holes, etc. Tig welding experience is the process we use 95% of the time. Knowing how stainless steel reacts to heat and knowing ways to compensate for warpage is a huge plus. Job shop environment. AC shop. Email resume with reference. Pay range $20-$24/hour.
